My favorite rest stop is in Dinwiddie, VA. I stop there every time I drive up and back to VA whether I need to stop or not. The reason? This sign:
I have looked everywhere in the stall, and there is no ledge or any other place other than the hook specified in the sign on which to place my valuables. Where is the “here” referenced? I don’t know why, but this cracks me up each and every time.
I once saw “Don’t put your shoes on the toilet.”

Good, sound advice. Maybe a little obvious, but still, words to live by.

Okay, I’m going to be trying to answer how they expect you to place your purse on that sign all day.

Ah, Dinwiddie. I’m a Virginia boy myself, though I’ve been in the Arizona desert for 15 years now.

I also love the name Dinwiddie in and of itself.
