Remember the dogwoods painting I asked everyone’s opinion about and then promptly ignored and totally revamped? Well, I had designed it specifically to cover a fugly window in my mom’s guest bedroom (where I sleep every month when I visit her). She’s been letting me totally makeover the bedroom, and it has turned into the mostest (spellcheck just tried to turn that into “moistest,” um, ew) peacefulest, cheerfulest bedroom EVER.

Now I kind of just want to live there instead of the pit of despair that is my apartment. Sigh.

Judging by your last few blogs and by that last comment, I think you need to take a step back from reading certain blogs. They’re clearly upsetting you. Luckily, you will never read the n word on this blog, unless that word is nutmeg, because, let’s be honest, nutmeg is awesome.

I was originally planning on putting foam board or poster board in the window to block out the light, but it ended up being fairly diffuse and I liked the glow it gave it so I just left it out. I’m stoked about the effect, too!
