First, let me say that I love the word succulent, because it sounds like it sucks, which is kind of what it does: sucks water from the soil. Second, they’re so much harder to kill than most other plants, which is a great thing, unless they’re living with me  because I’m apparently always up for the challenge of killing every plant I’ve ever tried to keep alive. Don’t ask me how that works. It’s just the truth.  Regardless, I decided to paint one of my favorite kinds, which I’m too lazy to look up the name for and about which I’m hoping one of you will step in to enlighten me. It’s much harder for me to kill a painting of a plant than it is to kill the plant itself. Here’s the painting, which is available here:
